* Malzahn was not happy about the blow delivered by cornerback Jonathon Mincy that knocked wide receiver Dimitri Reese out of the game and got Mincy kicked out of the game. Malzahn said it would be "dealt with."
I watched this replay several times and it looked clean on TV. I thought it was a good lick where he lead with the arms and shoulders and did not target the head. Did i misssomething?
Begs the question, will trigger happy refs take good players out with no replay?
He hit his shoulder with his shoulder but he would have tore him in two no matter where he hit him because he was defenseless.Somebody missed a block and left the receiver sitting there for a big hit and the db delivered it to break up the pass. The only problem I saw was it was a big hit to his own team mate-- you need to know when to hold back and when to cut loose. And it doesn't hurt for your blocker to protect you on that play as well as your qb making sure before he throws it that it isn't going to get you tore in half... assuming he can.
"Brick by brick, my citizens. Brick by brick"
Our qbs dont have that skill set.
