The drive ends on the fake punt if Holsey wraps up. It looks obvious we aren't teaching players to wrap around the legs and roll.
That's completely on Chizik and is embarrassing.
Every player in our back seven is that way.
They have no technique just shoot at them like missles ridiculous really ridiculous
Remember this from 2010? Read the part under Iowa St. It all starts at the top.
I learned to wrap up in Pee Wee Football !!!! It's coaching
"An Auburn Man needs no introduction"
The tackling was noticeably better today. I'm not sure why tackling would be high on a list of complaints.
What game were you watching??? Obviously not AU because their tackling was horrible.
Horrible? No, Clemson and MS State was horrible. Today was "improved".
Orange and Blue like the Auburn sky, War Eagle till the day I die.
Did you see the TD run by the ULM QB? #5 and I think #12 both whiffed bad. Bad angles, bad tackling. That was a microcosm of our day. It may have been improved compared to the last 2 games, but it was still atrocious.
Ok I don't want to argue but I don't think any of us in here really believe that our coaches aren't teaching kids to wrap up. (But look at the game). We don't teach interceptions, fumbles or holding and young players make those mistakes too.
Also, you don't wrap up around their legs and roll. You are never supposed to go to the group but wrap up, drive your feet and run through them. If you are on the ground rolling that is not proper technique.
