Schedule looks great this year, but we are still young. Next year we should be fantastic, BUT catch LSU, Arkansas, A&M, and Georgia AWAY. That ain't good, no matter HOW good we are. So, what the heck, let's just go ahead and take that trophy THIS year! If we can't manage that, then we may have to wait until '14. But hey, I'm a patient guy, 66 years old. I ain't goin' nowhere (I HOPE!)...
Our best years tend to be even years. Next year should set us up for the big jump. This year is going to have growing pains. No doubt.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
Attitude is Everything
This is what I've been trying to tell people, but I'm considered negative for looking at the fact that we have new systems being put in place and still a young team. You can't just throw two brand new coordinators in as well as a new QB and O line and be disappointed with anything more than 2-3 losses which seems to be the majority of opinion when it comes to determining what will be considered a successfull year. 2013 will be great; 2014 is the year I expect us to be firmly in the National Title hunt again.
I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
I echo what others have said. You are forgetting the fact that the offensive line we had in 2010 was full of experience. An experienced line is crucial to win in the SEC. On top of that, we had Fairley who went beast mode when needed to help the defense make a big play when needed and the G.O.A.T. Cam Newton to lead us back from like Cola said 7-8 different deficits. I'm a homer, but I am also realistic. This team is a year away from being in the National Title talk. 2 years from being a serious threat. I hope I am wrong and would love to eat my words, but at this point I don't see this team holding a candle to the team from 2010. If we can go 9-3 with two new coordinators and two new systems and kick in a bowl win to get to double digits, I will be quite content.

I am expecting 10 wins this year. The d-line will be the teams bell cow. I really believe the team will be very good running the ball IMO.
