of Dameyune Craig?
I was thinking Reggie Slack myself!
Lots of reps and a #2 with a bum shoulder could vault him into that spot. Seems to be well advanced of where I thought he was or even could be!
Surprise Surprise another no name QB making waves at AU. We seem to strive with guys like him on our team!
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
I'm just a huge fan of Craig and what he was able to do at Auburn. If he would have had any running game to lean on, we could have won a national title with him at the helm.
Wallace was dominant in this area in high school. I was mostly concerned with his size but he is reported to be 6'1" or so. I thought he was more in the 5'10" neighborhood. Either way I saw him make some nice throws in HS.
I love Craig as well. But reggie and Del Greco won one of the fondest games in my life...FSU at AU a last second kick to win it on a drive that Reggie was just STUPIDLY amazing during.
Both amazing talents with not much fan fare when they got here!
Hey if he is better, lets play him,,,ps remember the freshman from Utah state last yr?
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
Reggie Slack and Al Del Greco never played together at Auburn. Furthermore, Reggie was actually 0-2 against FSU, although 7-1 against AL, GA, UF, and Tenn. (Sorry, I can't give him UF 1987, when he took the first snap for a suspended Jeff Burger, who played the rest of the game). The 1990 FSU game was won by Jim Von Wyle 20-17, with Fyffe's memorable call, "how bout that kid from Akron Ohio!" the QB was redshirt freshman Stan White.

I think he is talking about Pat Washington in stead of Slack.
Wow my memory from when I was that young must have really taken a beating during my college years.....And all these years I thought we had a monkey that flew a spaceship to the moon!
College was fun!
Yes it was, especially at AU.
Pat Washington was actually 2-0 against FSU. The 1984 42-41 classic in Tallahassee, won on a late Fullwood touchdown, and my birthday in 1985, a 59-27 beat down at Jordan Hare.
You're not kidding. I was at that game in Tallahassee. Best football game I've ever witnessed. If the game last another 30 seconds...FSU would have won. I remember AU got two 15 yd penalties back to back. First one for roughness and CPD got the second for unsportsmanlike conduct cause he went on the field to argue with the official about the first penalty. Absolute classic game.
Remember: If The Jury Box Is Stacked With Foxes...The Chickin Is Always Guilty
He is a freshman and has had what, a little over a week and a half of practice? I'm not ready to proclaim him anything other than an an inexperienced freshman with potential.
I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
This. Dude hasn't even played a down yet and people are wanting to crown him "the next _____" Let's let the guy actually get in a game first. And if Kiehl stays healthy, that is going to be a loooooooooong time.
I was at that game and it still ranks as one of my top ten all time favorite AU wins. I could not believe the Auburn of that era could win a shoot out. WDE. It was made even sweeter since my tickets were provided by my wife's rabid FSU fan brother
