to be an Auburn Tiger, go sit in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Phenix City on a Friday night while your daughter sleeps and your wife and other daughter buy groceries. It's a continuous train wreck of Updykes. It's 30 miles from Auburn and might as well be on Mars. Damn it anyway. That is all.

come on down to dothan. you will pleasantly surprised at the balance between auburn and bama flags, tags, and stickers. i live here and i'm amazed at the number of auburn license plates. i'm guessing most of them are graduates and it brings a smile to my face everytime i see one. war eagle.
I work at Ft. Rucker, and the building I work in is about 10-20 percent Auburn...even vastly outnumbered contract wide.
But what is funny...didn't see a 1/4 of the Bammer shirts that you see now before Satan showed up.

A Bammer friend (an atypical Bammer) has mentioned the exact same thing to me.
I hear you loud and clear. I was a half mile up 280 at Home Depot the other day. My son and I, both wearing Auburn shirts, were walking in the store. We walked past a woman (term used very loosely), who gave us a big "roll tide". This person had a total of about 4 teeth and looked like she hadn't bathed in a week. I asked her what year she graduated from alabama. She shut up.
I hate people like that. We should start a Twitter account, call it something like bamaidiots or redneckbamafans, and post pictures of these jerks to it when we encounter them. Would keep a person very busy around Phenix City.

try not to pay attention to them. my parents told me when i was growing up to stay away from trouble and if trouble comes around dont pay any attention to them because thats what they want is attention. so i do bammers that way. turn your head and hold it up high
something else to do sometime when you are out in public is to keep track on the types of people wearing there schools colors. example last night my wife and i went out to a hockey game we sat down and i told her there is alot of auburn fans here tonight so we started watching different types of fans at the end of the night it was very clear who has the more class. bama fans had hats sideways pants half down to there ankles and the ones that wouldnt dressed like that had mullets with tatoos showing. only one bama fan did i see that was normal he was about an 75-80 year old man with a 1970 model bama jacket. there is more auburn fans in north alabama that what people think. somewhere else to go get a bunch of WAR EAGLES is nashville i have experienced it myself
"Townes used to say that there's only two kinds of music: the blues and zippity-doo-dah, and this ain't zippity-doo-dah." -Steve Earle
I went to a wedding ( Bama fan), and someone in her family was wearing a Bama jacket that looked like it was from the 80's...and looked like it had been worn alot...
also have seen alot of mug shots of people wearing Bama tshirts...
