he have been the favorite to be the starter? We know OMac would have been listed as the starter, but lefts face it..he is a 10 carry per game back. He is not an every down back. Even in the bowl game when we were without Dyer he only got 10 carries. So..as an every down back, do yall think Mason, Blakely or Grant have what it takes? Would TJ have started over them? None of our backs look big enough to take the SEC beating game after game 20 plus carries a game. I am hoping these guys really fill out in the off season because right now they are all under 6 feet tall and around 200 lbs. Also, does anyone know what each of them squats?

I second that with a HECK NO! Yeldon will be a stud, but every one of our backs could start for any team in the SEC, even OMAC if the offensive scheme fits around him. Blakely was a top 5 RB in the country when he came out, Mason was highly touted, and Grant is a track star who has added 30lbs and still just as fast. All of our backs, aside from OMAC, will play at 200lbs+... since when was that not big enough to play in the SEC? We will, again have one of, if not the best backfield in the SEC next year. Running Back U ain't going anywhere!
Who's TJ Yeldon? Move on, please!!!
USAF Vet. Forever American Airman
Not sure who that is.
Blakely and Mason can both carry the load for sure, from what they say it sounds as if grant has put on weight and has the ability to carry the load as well. And didn't we just sign someone named robinson whose about 220 lbs?
Who? Is this Yelton kid a football player?
