will reach out to Petrino and try to mend fences according to mod on TOS. That is an AD that cares about what is best for the university. He is paid to win football games, just as is the head football coach
If that happens, Louisville will be in the BCS title game in three years. Wonder what some of these creed monsters will say then. All UL will have to do is beat FSU. They have done it in the past and Petrino will whip Jimbo up and down the field all day to win the ACC and go undefeated. Just the fact that he is out there waiting to interview with us, but we wont because we have higher morals? Auburn will suffer for the next decade when we name GM or KS over a top 10 coach. Just mind blowing to me.
The funny thing will be that most people that don't won BP now, will be changing their tune and saying how JJ should be fired for not hiring him. Will be very ironic.
You are assuming that the ACC will even be a BCS conference at that time. You are also assuming we couldn't hire Petrino down the road.
If we don't get him now, we will never get him. I just want Auburn to go on a 8-10 year run of dominance, something we havent seen since Dye. TB couldn't do it, neither could Tubs. Chizik has sent us back to the dark ages. GM and KS are unproven and it is just ashame that is the best we can do. Petrino is a top 10 hire, not those guys, but we wont pull the trigger. I may have a man crush on him, but it's because he can win at a high lever. He has proven that, the other two have not. We will be just hoping that they can.
Do you keep a napkin by your side for whenever BP is mentioned?
