Do you guys think he sticks to his guns or replaces CSL..?
I find it hard to believe - if things go the way they're going & its 3-9 - everyone is back.
Kids, (a) Changing speeds is more important than a curve ball (b) you play defense with your feet & (c) Wayne Hancock is the tits.
Is it me or what? I view this season a complete inexcusable failure on CGC part. CGC couldn't get this team ready to play with a bye week. CGC need to be fired for his lack of leadership with this team plain and simple. If they bring him back CGC want be able to give AU nor the fans what they want and deserve. A program that consistently wins the majority of its games.
It seems strange to me that ANYONE would be back. As they say "the whole body of work" needs to be examined here. When Chizik's entire "body of work" is examined and the failures against successes are viewed with open eyes we should not allow the writing of any more checks to Chizik--except the last one. Folks we are at the bottom of FBS Division football...and that is not acceptable and not a fluke. We either mean what we say about Auburn remaining among college's top programs are we are not. This is not a "quick, snap" reaction. This downfall has occurred on this HC's watch. How can we justify paying out the kind of money AU does in football and other athletics if we don't draw results in return? We are not going to hold on to good recruits--nor continue to attract future ones if things are not changed. Throwing a coordinator or two and a few position coaches under the bus to "see" if we can improve next year won't do it nor will it work out. Everyone recruiting against us can and will tell potential players that the Chizik days at Auburn are numbered. It will have a very deep adverse effect.
AND Gene Chizik will not suffer. He will be hired in a position where he truly fits and produces and don't forget he will be taking a stuffed-full bank account when/if he goes.
