PANAMA CITY BEACH — A pair of Mosley football standouts were arrested early Monday and accused of resisting arrest after an incident outside a popular nightclub.
Enrique Davis, 23, and Ethan Davis were both arrested outside of Club LaVela on Monday after Enrique Davis allegedly urinated on a parked vehicle and resisted a police officer who attempted to detain him. Enrique Davis is charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and criminal mischief after police said he threw an elbow at the officer, knocking him to the ground and causing damage to an $800 pair of glasses before he ran off, police reported.
Ethan Davis, 25, was charged with resisting an officer without violence for allegedly attempting to lead Enrique Davis away from officers who were trying to arrest him.
Enrique Davis starred at running back for Mosley High School and played at the University of Mississippi. He finished his senior campaign last season and is gauging his prospects in the NFL Draft.
Ethan Davis, also a Mosley product and Enrique’s brother, completed his freshman season at Troy University. He had 16 tackles while playing defensive back for the Trojans.
