Down 0-2 in the 8th inning. I have no confidence that this team will come back. It's the same ol same ol. Smart money says that Pawloski is gone. Don't let the door hit you where the good lord split. It's ashame that Jay Gouge doesn't have the backbone to get rid of JJ. Will we be the first school in SEC history to finish last in football, baseball, and basketball? Great job JJ!
Not with our current AD.
Wrong. He knew he had to win this year to keep his job. He is out bearing a miracle run of wins.
I don't think Jacobs has a choice. Pawlowski is probably the worst coach in Auburn baseball history. Eight, count'em eight, of Alabama's 11 series runs were unearned. And that's pretty typical. Once Steve Slater's recruits left the plains it's been all downhill. Can you believe we're saying that? Phillip said this year would be crucial for Pawlowski. I have to believe Jacobs told him the same thing. Many on here, I included, wanted him gone last year. They saw the unbelievably poor fundamentals. Nothing has changed, and for that he has to go. I don't know how he had success at College of Charleston. Maybe his teams hit a ton of home runs to erase the fundamental mistakes. But this is a different game and he's not up to coaching it. Two weeks from now Auburn will play Georgia to see who finishes last in the conference.
What makes you think our AD who went 2 years too long on lebo, ran off Dave Marsh, ran off Harvey Glance, and the previous baseball coach is going to pull the trigger on coach paw?? He is an incompetent boob.
You can think of however you want, but he knew he had to win this year or he was out. Bearing a miracle run, he is a dead man walking.
Heck, he almost didnt make after last year.
Barring a miracle turnaround, which doesn't seem to be in the cards, I'd say you are right about Pawlowski.
How did he win at Charleston?
1. He wasn't coaching in the sec.
2. The change in bats mandated by the rules of college baseball did not help him. That does
not excuse the 3 stooges type of defense we play but they did take gorilla ball away from him. That makes me wonder if he can coach fundamentals and traditional style baseball.
I think you mean ran off Tommy Tubberville instead of Glance.... Glance left like 7 or 8 years before JJ became AD. So I dunno where you're coming up with that info.

I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
