Sullivan to Beasley was pure magic and movie tickets were 25 cents for kids. I remember the "Amazins" and we didn't have to lock our doors. I remember "Punt bama Punt" and how I could ride my bike alone all over town without fear. I remember seeing the campus for the first time in the early 80's and my first Auburn girlfriend. I remember how each time Bo touched the ball the crowd would be on the edge of their seat. I remember the ups and the downs. I remember the successes and the struggles. I also remember what it means to be a part of something larger than myself. May future generations have as many fond rememberances of Auburn and the good times associated with it as well. War Eagle
As a non-student sneeking into the student section with a friend to watch Geogia Tech in 74.
Ushering at Legion Field as Van Tiffin kick a mile long field goal over Gate 7, and a B'ham police officer jump on my back with joy.
Sitting in the north end zone in 1986 as drunk UGA fans stormed the field, and the water cannon gave each one a good bath! (plus the unfortunate ones in the lower section of the north end zone).
Just a few of many-many great memories, since the mid-60's!
Amen, those were some wonderful and cherished times.
