Raised an Alabama fan. Grew up an obnoxious Alabama fan (is there any other kind?). I'm named after two of Alabama's greatest QB's. I even dressed in FSU gear when they played AU in the 89 Sugar Bowl. Walked on at Auburn in the early 90s as a PK. When I visited AU I felt like I was at home. Never got to play but made so many great lifetime friends. Got a great education. I visit as much as possible. All my siblings ended up going to AU. My family is now die hard AU fans. I recently drove by Tuscaloosa's stadium and my 11 year old boy and my 4 year old girl rolled down their window and yelled "War Eagle" the whole time we drove through at their students. I feel my early sins have been forgiven.
I was born into a family that was split down the middle UGA one side GT the other. So I became a Georgia Southern fan since I lived in Statesboro and all. Moved to Bammerham in '92 Bama won the NC. Became one of them for almost 10 yrs until... a good friend of mine went to play at AU and there was no way I could cheer against him. In the time he was there I experienced my first Iron Bowl which he had an interception which was also the "Go crazy Cadillac" game. Been one ever since then and will never leave.
Nope, I'm a purebred.
I was raised in a bama family, parents and brothers are still fans. I went to AU due to course of study, and was true orange and blue by my soph year. Married my next door neighbor in AU, we raised 3 good AU fan kids. Glad to say I saw the light and was born again.
You grad, bro?

"A CHAMPION NEVER TAKES SHORTCUTS HE ALWAYS PAYS THE COST TO BE THE BOSS"
That was just funny. Can I be so bold as to ask your name? If no, totally cool.
Thanks for sharing!
Grew up a Hoosiers fan.
"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
...And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.
