And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.
-George Petrie (1945)
Great location, they have great talent around them, great facilities, good coaches, have the ability to make it to a BCS game year in/out. Is that enough reasons? FSU has the longest bowl apperance run in the game right now. They dominated the game in the mid/late 90s. They have had pretty good success down there for a long time. It has nothing to do with Jimbo learning his le$$on$ under Saban. He is well thought of and a good man. If that was true Saban's disciples would all tear it up in recruiting but they dont fact.
Do we not have a Foot Locker near by? Had to go there at least once.
Auburn probably has one of the worst campuses in the country when considering there is no parking. Its difficult to navigate 350 acres on foot when traveling the whole distance to go to your next class. The night life is pathetic and big blue towing can suck my ass
Auburn has lost many prospects to Free Shoes U. Many as a result of relationships arrranged with FAMU co-eds. Forston was a strong Auburn commit until he visited FSU. A friend of mine was told by Forston's principal that he fell in love with a girl FSU set him up with on his visit. I think that is FSU's MO.
Tallahassee is an OK town, but I don't think its all that either. My sister lived there 6 years. It's definately FAMU thats the attraction to these 17-18 year olds. JMO
