Not sure if anyone has posted this yet. Another reason I'm proud to be a member of the Auburn family...

kick 'em in the ass, big blue.
This is a post from Shlbysweet on another thread.
I read somewhere else that apparently CGC was caught off guard by the question of 4 year scholarships during his press conference and flubbed the answer. He either did not know they were going to announce the change yesterday or did not know if it had been finalized. Anyway, after the press conference is when they formally announced the change. But if you look at it realistically, AU has been honoring 4 year scholarships all along, they just have finally put it out to the public. After all, CGC doesn't routinely run off players like Saban. They are only kicked off the team through extreme circumstances such as continuous rule violations, grades, or very real medical reasons, not to make room for the next greater player. Look at Mike Dyer and Eric Smith. It took a lot of rule violations for them to be let go. And Schon Coleman would have been run off immediately from Bama as soon as they found out he was sick. AU has just formally put out there what they have been doing all along. We are truly the good guys.
It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger!!!
