Someone did jump during finals in 1983 or '84. Very sad.
I had Dr. Kicklighter for world history in 1979. :)

Any mention of how all this new construction will be funded? I can't imagine the state allocating the kind of money it will take to construct these new buildings.

I, too, spent much time in HC in the mid 70's. My wife was a receptionist in one of the offices there and my mother-in-law was the secretary to the Dean of the School of Education. So much time, so long ago...
Watching lightening storms from the top of Halley Center was awesome. In the early 70s you could still go up there.

I can remember the basketball and volleyball courts that were where HC was built in the late 60's. I would go to watch the women playing tennis in the afternoon and early evenings. Then they built HC and took it all away. Also fond (sic) memories of the ROTC drill fild at 7 am two days every week that was mandatory for all first and second year male students.
