After Tuberville lost his last game to Alabama 38 to 0, and the program was in turmoil, would you have taken the following: the next coach will stay four years, win a national championship, win a heisman, have several strong recruiting classes, then be fired leaving the cupboard with a good bit of talent and no substantial NCAA problems on horizon?
No question a resounding yes for me!
Absolutootly. I I think a change is needed now, but there's no question I would take the last 4 years in a heartbeat if you gave me that choice back in the dark days of 2008. Other than this year, I actually think CGC's teams have overachieved each of the 3 years he's been here. That said change is required now.
I feel the same way. I will remember Chizik era positively. However, change must be made.
I always remember Chizik for 2010. Other than that two unremarkable years and one unmitigated disaster. He needs to go Saturday night.
National Championship, is all I need to read. I still think we sold our soul to the devil and this may be our payment. But eff it, no can take away that night from us, so it's totally worth it. WDE.
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
