WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
ON TO VICTORY - STRIKE UP THE BAND
Saban would've dumped him. As I said, he treats his kids like they're a set of tools. In fact, many mechanics and people that work with tool sets value their tools more than he values his players. I will say it again, in the end, he's the one that's the tool.
I was thinking about this a week ago. Excellent point. So thankful we have a classy coach like Chizik...
Alabama delenda est.
He would likely at best be on a medical scholarship.
Knowing what we ALL know now, Saban would have been kicked him to the curb like this mornings trash. Shon is a kid that deserves all of the chances a program can give him in a 4 year career. Too bad they don't look at it like that in Tuscalooser. The winning is more important than any kids life or future with Saban calling the shots.
You know I was thinking about this very thing this afternoon. I was thinking that Shon could be an excellant recruiter for AU simply by telling his story of how AU has never given up on him and his hopeful recovery even when the odds were stacked against him of ever running out of the tunnel @ JH. My thanks to Coach Chizik for being the person he is and doing the right thing. That's one the very reasons that I love Auburn football and always will so long as we have administrators / coachs who have class aqnd do the right thing for the students and not necessarily the program as the that other coach does .
no doubt about it, saban would have shown him the door.
