***Chizik called this an exciting week for his team and said it's great to play a game like this back at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
"We understand the challenges that are ahead for us ... but this is what college football is all about," Chizik said.
***Chizik said LSU was better than Auburn on special teams last year but feels like it is a good matchup for Auburn this year.
***Chizik said this is one of the most physical games Auburn plays every year.
"They try to out-physical you, run the ball, play-action and take some deep shots throughout the game," Chizik said.
***Chizik said QB Kiehl Frazier has done a good job of overcoming adversity and every week will be a challenge for him. He said QB's have to have a short memory and show poise under pressure.
"The main thing is trying to get him some success early in the game," he said.
***Chizik said Auburn must find a way to establish a running game against LSU to take pressure off of Frazier.
"They're giving up less than 50 yards a game running the football but we've got to find a way to run it," Chizik said.
***More on the running game...
"We've done some good things in the run game and I expect the run game to improve," he said.
***Chizik said he hasn't seen any dropoff in LSU's defense without Tyrann Mathieu.
***Chizik on is expectations for his team this week...
"Our expectations are to go out there and play better than we played last week," he said. "Our expectations anytime we go out and play in our stadium is to win."
***Chizik said Onterio McCalebb has been their most consistent running back so far. He said they will run him outside or inside. He said Tre Mason and Mike Blakely have both done some good things and need to continue to improve.
***Chizik said Kenny Hilliard and LSU's other tailbacks are physical and tough to tackle. He said they have a very good OL.
I guess CGC wants a better rushing performance than last week.
In order to win this game we better see some long time consuming drives that can tire the defensive line and front 7 of lsu. If they are fresh all game....We are dead meat! And running a toss sweep to the sideline aint gonna do it. They know all about Omac and his speed. They need to get a heavy dose of Tre and MB in the middle to soften up those tough edges. I say spread them out with a sigle back and run some QB edge runs. Run the WRS deep to take the corners out of the plays and use the Pdozer to clip off the Lb...With Prosch being the single back!
Hope is a fleeting thing here...But I have hope and faith that this team is done being a whipping boy!
WAR DAMN EAGLE!
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?

Malzahn approves of NOW Boot Camp! Well...not really...but he would if he knew about it :) www.nowbootcamp.com
Really wish CSL would script out at least the first drive of this game and have our O run it until they cant even imagine anything else. Short dumps and running plays that limit negative plays to a minimum and will hopefully get KF in a groove without asking him to make too many decisions. This team has got to get some confidence early for this thing to stay tight. I think we should take the ball first if we win the toss.
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
