In the majority of instances, AU has always responded to detractor by doing better than expected.
I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
Feel free to down vote away and call me a sunshine pumper, but (all things considered) if we notch a W against LSU there is no reason we can't be looking at another perfect season. If not 10-2 is realistic. We have a schedule that other than an early LSU allows us time to gel/finish maturing, we have quality depth and experience, the right games are at home and to borrow a phrase, no serious "Amen Corners". Mark my words you will see Auburn Bring The Pain this season.
I understand anyone can win on any Saturday and I am not talking about just rolling an AU helmet out on the field but I only see 3 games we could lose this yr. LSU, Uga and uat, and at minimum we should pick up at least one win out of those three. BVGs scheme is going to allow our boys to do what they do best which is get to the ball quickly. Considering they will be playing on there toes rather than heels and leaning forward in the saddle I believe the will reach the ball with much more ferocity and when that happens everyone's job is easier O and D.
I suppose it takes both sides to keep the Family leveled out. Let's make plans to revisit this thread in January shall we?
