Just received word from espn that chris jones will visit auburn feb. 1. This would be huge. It appears auburn is gearing up to make a nice run down the stretch. I love it. ADE.
i have a feeling this tentative visit wont happen...maybe ill eat crow but miss st. has been with this kid from the start.
Dude. That would ROCK.
Dont know the details about his recruiting other than scheduled to visit AU. But if im chris i would only take about a half second for me to decide to visit AU over miss st.
WOW if so this is HUGE!
who at espn is reporting this?
TOOS is reporting it, also.
That would be big news.
Not to question voracity of OP but I sure would like to see a link before getting all giddy as a result of a message board rumor like this.
Think I'll wait for a while...
It's not a rumor it is being reported on several other sites by mods and people with validity. But like someone above said, if he actually makes it to the visit is another thing.
Chris Jones has set another SEC official visit.
The defensive end from Houston (Miss.) told ESPN via text message that he will take an official visit to Auburn on Feb. 1. The ESPN 150 prospect has been committed to Mississippi State since June but has also been considering Auburn, Alabama and Ole Miss.
He's maintained he's firmly committed to Mississippi State, where he took his official visit last weekend. As for Auburn, he's got a lot to learn about the Tigers.
"I don't really know too much about them," Jones said.
The defensive end was largely unknown until he committed to Mississippi State. By the time the 6-foot-6, 260-pound prospect finished his senior season and was a standout during the practices leading up to the Under Armour All-America, college recruiters across the South were well aware of Jones.
He is now rated the No. 46 prospect in the country, the No. 6 defensive end prospect in the nation and the No. 2 prospect in Mississippi. Jones had 73 tackles and 18 sacks last season. He is rated the No. 6 defensive end in the nation. He is State's highest-rated commitment in its 22-member class.
Jones is the highest rated member of State's 22-man signing class and the only ESPN 150 prospect on board. The Bulldogs have three ESPN 300 commitments and eight four-star prospects committed.
Also shows that Derrick Griffin is visiting this Saturday
Ever to Conquer!!
Maybe I can start warming up now
Worry only about things which you can change, the rest will either work themselves out or kill you......either way, no more worries.
