List some of your favorite quotes from the man. I will start with a couple
"Coach Bryant, before you start hugging me, you ought to know that my boys are fixing to get after y’all’s ass,"
"Hindsight is 50/50"
Not favorite but definitely one that will be remembered,
"Wouldn’t Trade Gene Chizik For 10 Nick Sabans"

"I've seen some coaches lose with good players. I haven't seen anybody win without them." Rhett Lashlee
Responding to a reporter during his first press conference when asked how long it would take Auburn to beat bama, Dye said, "60 minutes.".
"I don't need an office at Auburn anymore. I'm going to the Maple Farm. Deuces!" --PFD
"I played at Georgia, I coached at Alabama. I know how to beat both of them." -- Pat Dye
Said during his interview for the job at Auburn.
Great stuff. Keep em coming

After Bill Curry said "We will never play the Auburn/Alabama game in Auburn"
Pat Dye responded- "Never is a long time!"
Worry only about things which you can change, the rest will either work themselves out or kill you......either way, no more worries.
The rest of the story:
"You ain’t trying to scare me now, are you, Pat?" asked the Bear.
"No sir, because I know you don’t get scared. I’m just telling you what we’re fixing to do."
“These people of Auburn University, the Auburn family is what I got into coaching for.”
“I need everybody on that field all in, and here is my message to you. I need every one of you guys all in Saturday night.”
“You fight it when it don’t look good, you fight it when everybody counts you out, you fight it when there’s no way that anyone thinks you can do it but you, you keep fighting and at some point you’re going to win it.”
Bill Curry never said that.
"Alabama fans love Alabama football. Auburn fans love Auburn."
Found a pretty good one repeated by Spurrier about his first SEC coaches meeting at the Sandestin Beach Hilton, May 1990:
"I was sitting next to Pat Dye, and he says, 'Boys, look around, 'cause some y'all ain't gonna be here next year,'" Spurrier said.
I don't believe in miracles.
I believe in character.
Pat Dye Speech
“It doesn’t take but one Auburn man to be a majority.”
