Dye on Fineturd just now says he wouldnt hire him. Says he is a good Offensive coordinator but cant win big in the SEC. Also says it was a mistake to go after him in Jetgate. Says he was not involved nor would he have been. Says you have to hold your head coach to a higher standard. Hmmmm Also when ask if the same thing applies to Malzalm he stammerd and studdured. Didnt come out and endorse him but sounded like he would be ok with Malzalm. That told me alot. Im starting to buy into the therory that JJ, a Dye boy, wants Malzaln, who he could control. Dye nor JJ want Petrino because they know their input and control would disapear immediately upon his hiring.

At this point who cares what and who he wants as the next AU head coach. His everyday involvement with the program is part of the problem.
Did Pat Dye ever offer an explanation as to how a pair of his pants ended up on the bottom of Lake Martin?
Until he does, and puts down the bottle for good, he can sthu about others' moral shortcomings. And he needs to sthu regarding AU athletics, period.
First... that's hilariously ironic coming from a drunk and lets face it, a cheater, like Dye.
Second... why would you think he wants someone "he can control"? When are AU fans going to realize that Dye has no control or involvement with decision making? Dye is not the wizard behind the curtain, good grief.
If you dont think Dye has "input" into the Auburn program, well lets just say your kidding yourself.
Well I don't know why you subscribe to this site then because Phillip has said atleast a dozen times that Dye's supposed involvement with the football program is almost entirely a misnomer. He has influence. People take his opinion under consideration. That's the extent of it. The rest is Finebaum, message board made up bs.
"doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my god"
-George Petrie (1945)
Forget it, these ignorant kids here believe slimebomb more than they believe Phillip. I'm beginning to believe the pot-stirrers here who continuously attack PM and regurgitate the tired old slimebomb lies that CPD and the GOBN still control AU football are actually on the slimebomb network payroll because they certainly don't sound like the fellow Auburn fans I know and talk to on a regular basis. Also, no true Auburn man would continuously talk about Coach Dye with such vulgar disrespect. You certainly don't hear true updykes disparage "the bahr" and he had many more indiscretions than CPD.
If Dye doesn't want him, hire Petrino today. Dye needs to retire to the pasture with Stallings and the rest of the old coaches and keep his nose out of Auburn. He got us put on probation so he doesn't need to slam anyone.
ON TO VICTORY - STRIKE UP THE BAND
Makes me want CBP even more since Dye has been the biggest CGC apologist the last 2 yrs.
