I just cannot believe AU administration is allowing this farce to continue. I am seething with anger and disgust. Are they willing to allow Chizik to destroy AU football? Chizik is clearly incompetent and does not know how to coach effectively, worse he continues to use the same ineffectual strategies and procedures that rarely work and blatantly interferes with his coordinators, who are more skilled at calling plays, directly sabotaging their efforts. Even worse, he has no awareness of how incompetent he is and remains arrogantly impervious to others who could help the situation. And now, he scapegoats our own best player to shamelessly mask his own failures. He only won the BCS due to the brilliance of players he had the fortune to have playing for him (and mind you, even then, he was initially opposed to signing Cam Newton and had to be forcibly persuaded by all the coaches). His record outside that has been more 5-19ish ala ISU rather than the record of a top SEC caliber football team, a level Auburn is committed to establishing. It is way past time for a change, I would believe even a catatonic schizophrenic can see this. Yet our administrators hide their heads in the sand.
I blame Gouge and JJ equally, they are each like a paralyzed co-pilot of a run away 747 watching a crazed pilot steering his ship into the ground incapable of taking over and saving the crew and passengers because they hand picked the pilot and no matter what they cannot, or will not, admit they made an error. It's called going down with the ship and taking everyone aboard with you.
Relax bruh, it aint that serious.
Ooh, Peppa Jack Loves Fraggle Rock
I don't blame Gogue yet. I also am fine with waiting until after the season to fire Chizik. Jacobs on the other hand should be fired immediately so that we can have an AD in place to be involved in the next football hire. I was furious when Chizik was hired, but was able to calm down by saying, "fine, but if he (Chizik) fails, Jacobs has to be fired and not allowed to make another hire." If Gogue does not fire Jacobs, then he becomes the blame for the shape of our athletic department.
I feel great sympathy for Chizik and his family. I think you might want to calm down but that is your choice. I am growing tired of the "Auburn Family" monicker. There is an Auburn fan base when it applies to football and for graduates there is the alumni assoc.
U leave. We are sorry to hear that, but that has nothing to do with the issue at hand. Sorry gene for ur lose, but u still got to go!
Do you have another hobby besides Auburn football? If yes, do it until next season. If no, go get one NOW. You will need it to control your anger management issues.
War Eagle, Tiger!
94 TigerBand: Dude, I don't think it's personal. I don't dislike Chizik as a person. I feel for the family's loss. There's an obvious problem with the team somewhere, and fans are getting restless because we can't see it being addressed. Society is responsible for the burden to win we've put on coaches via their unbelievable salaries. By taking the high salaries and buy-outs, the coaches themselves accept the pressure to win.

If you try real hard, maybe you'll grow up someday.
It's not about hate, it's about letting this program fall apart. Arkansas State is playing on ESPN right now, and they would beat us by 2 or 3 touchdowns.
Started at the bottom, now we here.....better get used to it.
