No way in hell if the roles were reversed that our members would behave as you suggest. Bammers are different and for every lunatic fan Auburn has Alabama has 10. Something smells in Muscle Shoals and it is having an impact with Dee. Dee's HS Coach, to me, has not handled the last two days appropriately. Too much information is getting out that has the appearance that he is using public embarrassment as a form of punishment. You practice the kid and hold him out of play for disciplinary reasons. No need to let it out of his house. Dee may need his support to deal with the crap that is occurring off the field and his HS coach might not be providing that for Dee.
I don't know the facts. But from what I am hearing regarding his recruitment it is getting very nasty.
The conspiracy theorist for EVERYTHING that happens negative to Auburn really make our fan base look bad. It could be a multitude of reasons for Dee getting suspended, but to insinuate that his coach is SOOO hardcore "Bammer" that he would suspend his best player because of the school he's committed to is 100% idiocy. We do not truly know what it is until all the facts are presented, but I would be willing to bet about anything that it has NOTHING to do with his college choice. The people who honestly believe that truly need to try and be at least SOMEWHAT rational. I'm sure PM, BM, and our coaching staff don't feel that is had ANYTHING to do with this garbage either, so some of you would be wise to take the lead from the truly informed members of the Auburn family. WDE.

Bo Jackson got his name from stealing a hog. A "Bo" hog...
He also went to the bus station to quit prior to the Alabama game...
But he has turned out to be an honorable father and husband.
I agree with Liner, just get him to Auburn.
Attitude is Everything
Good one, but no, I like the AU coverage; it's top notch. However, I don't start caring about what the kids do until they get here and are wearing an AU helmet. I occasionally peruse the recruiting threads for the comedic value of grown-ups telling each other what teenagers they don't know are thinking.
Dear Dee Liner,
Look around at what is happening and realize what is in front of you. Everything that you have dreamed about is right there for the taking if you make the right choices, have a good attitude and work hard. Being talented does not insure your success. You have no idea how lucky you are to have the opportunity you have:
Your college education will be paid for.
You can go to the NFL and make millions, but only if you go to school and work hard. There are no minor leagues for the NFL. You have to go to college.
Life is not always fair and you may not always be treated the way that you would like, but you are always responsible for your actions. If you think that your life is rough, I suggest you join the Marine Corps, go over seas and see how some of the rest of the world lives. Trust me, you and everyone else in this country has it made. Don't let yourself be a victim and don't let anyone make you a victim. You need to start owning some of this misfortune that seems to surround you over the past few months.
Good Luck to you and War Eagle!
king again refer to article on al.com and then tell me the lune bammers aren't capable of anything.
Chiver and Captain.... You were once never here but now you are, with multiple votes like jimmie carter... what shall we say o what shall we do... agree with you and get a bally hoo...though neh we agree or neh we do... i will clap and say Bama Boo Hoo.
Yours and Truly,
The Great Cornhollio
did anyone else hear Dee liners interview on eyes on AU?
Come on man really? You're trying to tell me that if a Bama commit was arrested twice and then suspended form his highschool team that people on here wouldn't be talking crap about him? Yeah right... I'm sure our fans would be saying, "Oh, I'm sure it's the coaches fault, he is a nice young man...." Nope. People on here would be screaming about what a thug he is.
I agree Auburn fans are head and shoulders above many bama fans in class, but if one thing this board has proven to me it's that people can not think without bias here as you are obviously showing right now.
It's blatant homeism and bias that makes a fanbase look ignorant and whiny. All I'm trying to do is get people to try to think outside of a bias for two seconds. I love Auburn just as much as anyone, but I know better than to sit there and yell, "we're going undefeated this year!" and "Oh it must be Bama's fault again, they are always trying to bring Auburn down." ...You do realize that it's minorities of the fanbases that blow this whole thing out of proportion right? You act as if 99% of Auburn is holier than thou and can do no wrong and that 99% of Bama is just the most evil entity on Earth. At some point you have to grow up and realize it's a game and a rivalry and should be conducted in a manner that is civil and not let it control ones life.
It's really sad to see 60 some odd year old people thinking that if they didn't get the mail on time that day that Bama must have intercepted it and planted anthrax in it.

I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
No idea what you're talking about but ok...

This is not an Auburn problem, is it? All this kid is, is a commitment. This is a HS problem that, really, doesn't even deserve to be tweeted about. A waste of time talking about it.
If Liner acts a fool after a LOI is in...then it becomes an Auburn problem.
I know plenty of people on both sides of this rivalry who belong in the black helicopter society... so for anyone who feigns 'amazement' that people come up with conspiracy theories, I have three words....
Listen, we as the Auburn family have our fair share of 'grassy knoll shooters'. Nessie and Sasquatch are often involved too. But here's the deal, just because we believe in conspiracies doesn't make us always wrong. Turd U gives us a reason to believe in conspiracies... See Means, Albert. Go back to David Palmer. See TJ Yeldon. Callaway....
You know, I'm not the most connected person to the seemy underbelly of college sports.. but even I am not naive enough to believe that all of the above situations were all kosher. Means situation was proven. Palmer's absolutely stunk to high Heaven and TJ and Brent's situations were inexplicable on a good day.
For you people who dont believe bammers pull strings in this state to push AU down... seriously get over it. For you people who dwell on it too much.... take responsibility for your own lives and actions and go full speed ahead without much thought about things you cant control. Whether you believe in bammers pulling strings behind the scenes or not.. it's not something you can control... so let it go. Be Auburn, be proud.... but 'walk humbly'.

So true! Auburn commits and players aren't perfect little angels. They need to own their mistakes an if everybody makes excuses for them they will excuse their behavior in their own minds and continue to make mistakes and end up like Dyer. He needs to get his but in gear! No high school coach would kick such a great player of their team if there wasn't a good reason.
As I said Cola. 1 to Bammers 10 might do as you say. No homerism here just a plain fact. Auburn fans in the most part care about Auburn. Bama fans equally have their noses into Auburn as they do Bama. That is especially true when it comes to players who have problems. They relish it.
Care to explain the David Palmer situation?
