I want him at Auburn. A player even told me he we just don't have the players for a power I or whatever Loeffler's horrible offense is. Keep BVG, Grimes, Thigpen, and maybe Troop. All he needs is a strong DC and he'd be a serious contender. Auburn is a definite upgrade as well. And he's not a stretch like Gruden, Kelly, etc
Kids, (a) Changing speeds is more important than a curve ball (b) you play defense with your feet & (c) Wayne Hancock is the tits.
I like it but I'm not sure we could get him away from WVU so quickly... do love his commitment to the spread. Plus it'd be interesting to see what he could do with QB's like Frazier and Wallace. Would be similar in nature to a Malzahn hire I'm going to assume.
Has as much baggage as Petrino.
Less baggage actually. His screw up wasn't as well publicized as CBP. And yeah it was a horrible decision to switch to the power I
Really? He's been wrecking motorcycles with personally-employed coed's on the back too? Damn I must have missed it.

I wish we would actually use the power I. We'd have probably won a couple more games by now.

We didn't switch to the power I.
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"

You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
Holgerson's teams are awesome as long as their QB completes like 95% of his passes.
The last two weeks that hasn't been the case. The results have been a 49-14 loss and a 55-14 loss.
We don't have to land a coach that has never lost, but why would you want one that went 5-2 in the Big East last year and has a better team this year but a 2-2 record in a real conference (where the two losses were by an average of 38 points)?
He might will win 9+ games every year. But he also might lose a couple games by more than three TDs every year.
I guess for me, I'd have to see what he does over the course of a few years in the Big XII. After the results of his last two games, his schedule still has four games left that could go either way. What if he ends up 5-4 in the conference? Would you still want him?
