No, you're wrong. Posts on the Dye Hard forum can be marked VIP as well.
Defeat doesn't finish a man - quit does. A man is not finished when he's defeated. He's finished when he quits. - Richard Nixon
Although I rarely post in this forum, I find myself visiting both the AU site and The Bodda Getta (in particular) several times a day. I've always enjoyed reading everyone's back and forth banter and the civil discussions that often permeate internet forums such as this one. However, I have to admit that since Auburn's opening loss against Clemson, I have found myself clicking on fewer and fewer threads on TBG forum. Not because I have a problem with people expressing their opinions or because I can't handle reading criticism of AU football, but because I have felt that a select few have become increasingly irrational when discussing the coaches, players and future of AU football.
So after reading the decision to move a more open and "spirited" debate to The Dye Hard Forum, while keeping a civil and respectful tone on TBG, I assume both Ron and Phillip are to thank. Particularly because this decision allows for those who don't see a problem with the way things have gone on TBG over the last few weeks, just as valid a forum to express themselves. While I may not agree with several of the recent threads on TBG, I'm humble enough to realize that doesn't mean those threads (and the opinions represented in them) are any less valid than those I tend to prefer.
After all, since we all believe in Auburn (and love it), and in the end just want the best for this team and University, it's nice to see a solution given that works for everyone. Thanks again Ron and Phillip.
Been wondering how long this would take. Outsiders, and that's what we are, have not the knowledge or the mind set to criticize in a smart mouth way the working of a program as complicated by visible restraints as well as the mentality of very young people. Folks, sometimes it isn't easy to be in a leadeship position or a prominent playing position when it appears the program is a loser surrounded by critics looking for anything to howl about. If you scratch an itch with the wrong hand, you hear about it in terms that make you want to fight, but, that's an invitation for more criticism so you shut up. What's the wrong hand to scratch that itch? Why, the one you used, of course.
Thank you Mr. Sanders. If AUC doesn't want to print all of it, print the last four words.
I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
