I'm probably wishing for something that will never happen, but what I see with CCP is a team that plays way above it's talent level, year-after-year! I know that they usually lose a game that they should win, but that's the trouble with having less than stellar talent. They are always up for big games, and compete, even winning the handful that they've been in. I don't know how well he'll do at a big school, and I know that he's been reluctant to leave Boise, but if the coffers of cash is right, he'll go somewhere! Here's wishful thinking....he is one day the HC @ Auburn University!
That guy would be crazy to leave Boise.
He has the keys to the university, and his family loves it there.
No doubt, but from what I've read, he's tired of not being able to get the pinnacle of football and he's starting to come to the realization that it will probably never happen at Boise! I won't argue with you one bit about what a great situation he's in...and $$$ isn't everything, as he is already making a million + at a place he loves. However, triple/quadruple that which is where the Auburn/Arkansas/etc....level of teams are at, as far as pay for a HC! I know it's the longest of longshots, especially since we still have a HC in place that is owed a Brinks Brigade of Trucks to leave....
In that case, he can prove just how good he is if he comes to Auburn.
He will surely be taking over a mess.
It would be interesting to see, no doubt.
I'd love to see him have success at a bigger school, preferably Auburn, he seems like a really good guy. Especially if he can reel in the next Kellen Moore.
Gotta get rid of jay jacobs first.
