2009: 11-2 (would have been his most masterful coaching job ever)
2011: 9-4 (another phenomenal coaching job)
All comes back to the defense.

And if Hitler wasn't a complete psychopath, he would've been a pretty cool guy....but......
I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"

You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
And here's his regular-season record if we hadn't had an offense capable of overcoming double-digit deficits:
Lucky us - now we have neither an offense that can come from behind nor a defense that can hold a lead. The worst of both worlds.
"IF", If a frog had wings he would not bump his ass when he hopped. His teams did blow 14 point leads and many times it was because the offense couldn't get a first down in the 3rd and 4th quarter. I would love to know the answer as to why that was.
The offense didn't cause us to surrender 2-TD leads. The inability to stop the other team from scoring after building leads caused us to surrender them.
How many times did the defense get a stop late in the game against a good offensive team, only to have the offense go three-and-out and put them right back on the field again?
You can't always pin the blame on one side of the ball. Sure, in some games it's obvious one or other is the weak link, but most of times it's failure of both that causes a loss in a game you should have won.
