Heath Evans has confirmed the rumors that have been floating around about Dismukes offensive, racist remarks towards Foster. Have you heard anything about if Dismukes is being disciplined? Any thoughts on what the coaching staff will do in this sort of situation? For Heath Evans to be talking about on the Cole Cubelic show, it must have been pretty bad...I'm just curious, it seems as though this kind of thing would have also had a negative effect on not only current team members but also new recruits. Have you all heard any rumblings along these lines?
How exactly did he "confirm" it? Not saying that an incident didn't happen, but there is lots of hearsay out there. Nothing that is definitive enough for me. Radio shows are full of talking heads that spew whatever they want, whenever they want. Rarely do those shows deal in fact.
First, that is not confirmation. Somebody saying he heard from somebody that somebody did something is not confirmation of anything If it is true, what is true? What was said? Who said it? Why was it said? That is a long, long way from confirming anything.

Well since Heath and Cole were there.... Your post is stupid...
Heath Evans loves AU. Do you really think he would go on the airwaves with those comments if he didn't find his sources to be completely trustworthy. Yes, I understand Heath wasn't there. I just can't see Heath putting something that dramatic out there for everyone to see and hear if he didn't believe it was 100% credible. It's no different than when one of the mods on this board reports something that was told to them by a "credible source", I believe it. Well likewise, I am choosing to believe Heath Evans. Why would those current players that spoke to Heath make this up? And why would Heath broadcast on live radio if he thought the current players didn't know but were making assumptions? Again, you can choose to believe what you want. Sometimes, you have to go with your gut and my gut tells me that Heath is spot on...
Previously when Heath reported that our players were soft and the program was in jeopardy, no one on here questioned it, did they? We took it for what it was worth because Heath Evans has credibility...

Dismukes said, he didn't care who foster committeed to he was going to knock his ass out next year. Then said something to the effect he was gonna beat his ass. Bouncers separated it.
i have a hard time with the sky bar bouncers being able to separate RD & RF.... if they could they should suit up for the FB team
It wasn't a fight
Don't know what sky bar's bouncers are like, but ... BIG difference between football and a street fight. Most bouncers at most places think fightin' is fun ...

I used to watch my friends that bounced there toss lineman out all the time. A certain TE from our past was always getting into fights or throwing up in garbage cans and they handled him just fine, JS. Most bouncers are former athletes that had various reasons for short careers (injury, family problems, money). Not sure if they have that caliber of bouncers still today though. That was when SkyBar was new and the place to be...

exactly ... a lot of other 'backgrounds' can be involved too.
JBT for someone that loves Auburn, Heath picked a terrible time to air Auburn's dirty laundry on the airwaves.

I am going to say this once more. Even in this thread, there are different versions of what happened. I respect Heath Evans. I believe he believes what he said. Other players have had very different versions. I wasn't there. You weren't there. Heath wasn't there. Once again, the player involved is not going to have his character assaulted here by people who do not know what happened. If and when we find out what happened and can confirm it we will report it. Anyone who believes Reuben Foster was about to commit to Auburn and changed his mind because of a confrontation with one player is not being realistic. Any posts that insist on attacking without evidence, those posts are going to be deleted. Thank you for understanding.
RD is one of the big nastys, centers are the nastiest. My uninformed guess is he heard RF say something about going to uat or maybe even trying to sway some visitors to go too and being true blue, as I think he is, he went a lil redneck on him.Possiable slurs not withstanding, I want my OL to be PO'd if someone is downing AU, or bragging bout uat
Today is a great day to love Auburn, a little better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.
