It would be interesting to see how he ranks as a RB compared to the others on the board.
Does anyone have his stats from this yr as a running back? I spoke to someone recently that said he has some speed but that he doesn't really see the field well enough to make the big time cut back.
If this is true, did we just dangle the RB position because this is what he wanted to hear? My ego hopes this is not the case but I know it has happened at virtually every school in the conference at one time or another over the last few years including ours.
I agree with "Winder" above... where would he rank? My guess is that possibly like Richard Samuel at UGA he ends up back at his natural position after he gets buried on the depth chart for a while. After all he's ranked what... #2 and 5*'s. Seems destined to play LB at the next level if he gets the right coaching.
he should be listed as ATH. He will start at RB, but we might sign 2 other RBs so unless he is a stud as RB then he might be moving to LB, where some feel he's elite.
I don't really care where or what position he is designated....I trust this coaching staff...they probably told him the would give a shot at running back...so be it...I DO NOT beleive they mislead him...they are good at judging character...and if he did not work out at RB , he would play where he could most help the team.....Who was it that was a freshman this year that wanted a shot @ QB??...didn't make it...was it Chris Davis who is playing cornerback?...could be the same situation...this is what happens when you recruit great atheletes!!
If you have to ask why I love Auburn so much...never mind
I think he had right around 2000yds and over twenty TD's. I am pretty sure it is in the original post when committed.
