I'm in medical school so I don't get out much, but I wanted to go pick up maybe a new hat or framed picture/matte to celebrate the dawn of a new era, where's the best places in/around mobile?

Someone that lives down in that area could tell you better than, but I think there is a Bass Pro in Mobile? If so, I know they would have some. Maybe check out Kohl's Department Store.. I am sure there are some smaller local shops with better stuff that the Mobile natives could help you out, more than myself. Good luck in your search.

"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
They have a store in front of walmart on schillingers rd. bama fever- tiger pride it has a real good selection of auburn stuff and i think there is one in the mall also
There is also a BamaFever/TigerPride store at the Eastern Shore Shopping Center (Malbis). They have the best selection around, though that isn't saying much. I really try to avoid shopping there as it's owned by Bama fans (and not the good kind) and employs only smartass teenage Bama fans.
If you want something nice, call J&M or AuburnArt and talk with them. They are both really friendly and will ship you whatever you'd like. That way your money will stay with the Auburn Family.
There's a brand new Academy on Airport, between Cody & Schillenger Rd. Also, the other Academy is at Airport/Montlimar. Two Bama Fever/Tiger Pride stores, one on Schillenger & the other in the mall. On the Eastern shore is Dick's Sporting Goods & Bass Pro Shop!
I don't think it's Cracker Barrel. Ha Ha. I would google Auburn merchandise Mobile, Al.
and see where that leads.
I suggest ordering online or by phone from Tiger Rags, J&M or Anders if you want to avoid being harrassed while shopping or checking out. They just can't help themselves.
