"I think competition committee needs to go back and lock themselves in the room until they come up with a better idea. smh"
Defensive players have been dealing with these type of rules for a long time.
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?

"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
I have not seen anyone talk about the technology improvements that need to be made. Athletes are only going to get bigger, stronger, and faster. Instead of changing the game, they need to change the equipment. There needs to be another revolution in football equipment. When players switched from leather helmets to hard plastic, it revolutionized the safety of the game. We need more people working on the technology of the equipment such as leg braces that make it nearly impossible to tear ligaments, better shoulder pads that can absorb bigger hits, and helmets that can take more punishment without the players having to take it. Companies are working on these developments some, but if we don't work faster on making better equipment, then the game will change into something that more resembles soccer..... just a thought.
With my past and future precisely divided am I at that moment....I haven't decided.
has anyone done any research about rugby? No pads. No helmets.....but tons of contact and tons of shots to the body and head. I mean just look at a scrum. And those dudes are equaly as big strong and fast as the football guys.
Its a personal decision to engage in this sport. I dont mean to trivialize the injury front. But ask them if they knew the consequences? And if they would change what or how they did it?
This is what irks me to death. In todays society it is everyone elses fault that I got hurt or contracted lung cancer from smoking. Or liver disease from drinking. When does it become a point of self responisbility. I played football, and got hurt. It wasnt the sport or the other teams fault. It is what happens. These things are called accidents for a reason.
Again. Just put them all in pillow outfits and or sumo suits and tell em to go at it!
