Assuming Jason Smith signs with Auburn, which it sounds pretty good right now, what position realistically will he play? I know he wants a shot at QB but with the guys in front of him and Jeremy Johnson also hopefully signing, what are his chances at QB? Who right now, going just on what you have seen out of them up to this point, has a better shot of winning the QB spot, Johnson or Smith?
I would guess he would be a wide receiver on the team, similar to Quan Bray.

Auburn has many ex-QBs on the team in different positions. Trovon, Bray, Uzomah, Ryan White, and Chris Davis come to mind, so it isn't so far-fetched for a former QB to play something other that his HS position. You've got to realize that in some of these HS situations, the QB is the best player on the team, so he could easily move to some other position and do well there. My grandson was a QB in HS, but in the recent AISA All-Star game in Prattville, he also played WR, and did very well at it. No matter the position, I believe JS will do quite well. WDE!!
