the only thing that matters?
According to some at Auburn it doesn't.
I read the article and Richardson says that hiring Petrino will show that Auburn is desperate and the only thing that matters is winning. This is the same guy that fired Cliff Ellis, a good church going man, because he wasn't winning. Seriously, Richardson? He also implied that Petrino was stabbing Tubbs in the back. That is rediculous. He wanted a better job, wanted to come to Auburn and "our guys" came to see him, not the other way around. In any line of work, you want to get ahead, even if that means taking over your bosses job. Richardson moved up the chain of command and took other good men's jobs to do it. It is what it is, get a grip, this is how the world works.
It is funny to read about these guys that are the so called PTB at Auburn. They must really live in a bubble. Outside the Auburn bubble we are thought of as cheaters, lyars, backstabbers, and other horrible names to everyone else in the country. The only people that think Auburn is clean, that we don't do anything wrong, and that winning isn't everything, is Auburn people. If you look at history then what does it say. History proves that Auburn is no better than any other school and that it wants to win and will do anything to do it.
So that is the question I ask anyone who reads this, is winning the only thing that matters? I believe that it is, and don't let these so called leaders of Auburn fool you. History doesn't lie.
