Not a surprise. The Ducks made a strong late run.
Thanks for the update.
Hope he enjoys it there!
Dang, I was looking forward to seeing him balance that Auburn placard on his head when he picked us.
Started at the bottom, now we here.....better get used to it.
Too bad, it would have been nice to have the kid at AU. Oh well, move on. Next.....
Not because of this commit, but I hope quacks get sacked by NCAA! Can't stand Kelly! A real douche it seems!
As much as I hate to lose him, I really feel the family handled this with class. Wish him well!
And I was the idiot that said he would go to the Ducks this past week. Wow...I do hope my other predictions dont come true.
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
Geography is a b****!!
Your outside source.
I can't say that i blame him for wanting to stay West Coast. Living in the dirty south would be a culture shock to say the least and when choosing a school there is a lot to be said about being comfortable. I hate for him that he will not likely develop as well not playing day in and day out against the level of talent he could have played against in the SEC. I will also say that I do not particularly care if we get a lot of these "overly hyped" kids. I love the early enrollees that commit and come in and start working hard with little or no fanfare. Unlike the past, these "overly hyped" kids and often their parents come in a little over media savey and can sabatage your program. Ask Mike Leach if he will ever recruit another celebrity's kid? Good look Arik. Maybe we will see the Ducks in the post season sometime.
Maybe we need to spend more time and $$$$ recruiting in our geographic area. I think that is the only reason he didn't come to Auburn. Homesick would be a big deal, huh???
He might if they don't go on probation.
That said, Arik and his family seem to be class acts. Good luck to him and his brother.

I hope Oregon never wins another game!
Any thoughts on how this news might impact other recruits still on the board? By that I mean, wih Ark out of the mix, does it make other recruits on our list take a closer look at us (i.e. playing time, competition, etc.)? Could it give us an edge with other recruits on the board?
Wrong! In this day and age you recruit the best wherever they are!
War Damn Eagle!!!
What a waste of talent.
If you have to ask why I love Auburn so much...never mind
