Of 1st-degree robbery. He could face 20 years to life in prison...
The jury returned its verdict after 45 minutes of deliberation.

So unfortunate. Ruined his life 100%, especially if he does 20 years. I think the judge will give him less though...

Does it say in 1st degree robbery that it is mandatory 20 years to life or is it up to the judge's discretion? Im confused a little. Terrible for these kids though.
Terrible that they were dumb enough to do it but not terrible that they were caught and found guilty. If you do it, they should absolutely pay the consequences.
Oh no he didn't
Obviously but just saying its terrible because they are just kids starting out and now their life is ruined. They will all be convicted felons.
In the story it says the judge has some discretion in sentencing.
This makes ME so sad !
20 years would be a little harsh. I think 10 years in prison would be a fair punishment. Thoughts?
robbery, gun, smoked "Spice", get-away, terrorizing the victims, etc. = harsh
20 years = harsh
Well... 10 or 20 years would be a little harsh.
What a poor decision by them. 20 years to life in prison is a WASTE.
