Defeat doesn't finish a man - quit does. A man is not finished when he's defeated. He's finished when he quits. - Richard Nixon
Something really smells funny when it comes to Emmert. Im not normally a conspiracy theorist but when this whole "botched investigation" turned into such a big ordeal and Emmert and the NCAA seemed to be trying to make it very public that they screwed up, I thought... something about this doesn't add up.
My thought at first was that they must have screwed up way worse than what they are letting us know about. Then the more I heard about it and the more I thought about it, it seemed like maybe Emmert was just looking for an excuse to let Miami off the hook. -----
Now why would he do that? Could it be that he stands to gain financially by letting them go free? Did someone make some threats that really really spooked them into dropping the investigation? Does someone at UM have pictures of Emmert or something else that they are using for blackmail?
Im not sure what the deal is but this article furthers my suspicions that there is much more than meets the eye when it comes to slime-ball Mark Emmert and the NCAA.

Did not Emmert have a stint at LSU, nuff said. The corruption in that state is second to none - WDE
ON TO VICTORY - STRIKE UP THE BAND
People need to start calling for Emmert to step down
Miami must have paid him a lot to get rid of the investigation, once he is fired that's the only money he will have to fall back on, it flat out smells fishy to me
I'm with you fellers, War Eagle!!!!!!!!
@TillmanReverse: Welcome to the club. Since Emmert has been in control little has happened to stem the corruption in major college athletics. UNC was caught with their pants down and nothing substantive happened. Yahoo did the NCAA's job for them and they'll escape any real punishment. Bama has run amok without worry. Ole Miss must have looked around and thought, "Why not us, too?". Emmert is corrupt. Nothing will change whilst he's there.
