Here are the details...hope it can stay, but if anyone can help this great American and his wife (and soon to be 1st child), please reach out to them or reach out to me....
Hello friends. We have a new prayer request. After much thought and consideration, we have decided on our post- Walter Reed future. Josh has officially decided to medically retire from the army. We have decided to move to the Auburn/Opelika area so Josh can finish his degree at Auburn University in Alabama. We would also like to settle down and build our permanent residence in that area. We are currently researching dozens of organizations and ideas on how to get this accomplished. There are so many options but also a lot of red tape. As first timers in the housing market who also must deal with disabilities and a baby on the way, it's a little overwhelming. Please pray that we can choose the right path for both Josh's needs and our growing family. Thank you!!!
The whole story:
Josh Wetzel is a U.S. Army Soldier who was injured on May 31, 2012 in Afghanistan. He sustained injuries requiring both legs be amputated and fractures to several fingers. Please put him and his family on any and every prayer list to which you have access.
