that going into the dead period we only have three assistant coaches and we've lost valuable time in recruiting????

ON TO VICTORY - STRIKE UP THE BAND
Most all coaches in the southeast have recruited against Auburn.
The thing is, and what many people around here fail to realize, is that the two are not necessarily mutually exclusive. While I admit that some people on here might take it a little far, people who have a prior association with Auburn, many times are the best for the job. I believe that Gus went after DC because he's a good coach and recruiter, having played for Auburn was just a perk.
Performance stands out like a ton of diamonds. Nonperformance can always be explained away.
No worries, be happy... He's hitting up recruiting hot and heavy and I'm sure as soon as dead period begins we start seeing the other coaches being hired... He's focused on proper time management with recruiting first and filling staff second. CGM did a FAB job of hiring coordinators rather quickly.... He will make good decisions with filling other spots no worries
Not the best scenario. Would have been better if we had a full staff or close to it filled out already. No reason not to at this point really with the exception of any NFL guys.
