Altitude Sickness

  • Affter two bi pass surgeries I skied Aspen and never had any altitude trouble. If you can walk a mile at a brisk pace, you won't have any problems. Enjoy. If you can ski the green and blues under control, it will be an experience you'll want to enjoy again and again. If you can't, go to school for a couple of days and then you will be able. A stroke in 2004 ended that for me, but if I hadn't stroked, I'd still be skiing. Right side too crippled. Trust me n this. If you can't ski under control, go to school. Colorado skiing is head and shoulders better than anything in the east. If you dare the east, you'll ski Colorado and never go east again. I'm not a religious man, but when you're up high, and the light goes flat, and the wind dies down, and it starts to snow, you're as cllose to heaven as you'll ever get on this earth.
