AUHEEL, that is an excellent description. You sir are indeed eloquent!
New guy here, but I'd heard the same thing from reposts from a Bama board. I hope that's where they get info, because I've heard from transcripts of the wiretaps that there was nothing there.
Plus, it's kinda information gathered via a warrant for specific legal purposes, ie prosecution, not really NCAA purposes, which don't really fall under the umbrella of law enforcement.
The Bama people seemed to back off it real quick-like, anyway. Now they're back jabbering about Cam's eligibility.
The Bamers just better hope and pray that Cam doesn't do a 180 and come back for his senior season. There would be alot of sad faces around the SEC except for the "Good Guys"
Auburn people feel a deep and passionate responsibility to uphold standards not written on paper, but lived from the heart.
I'd love to see Cam come back for his Senior year but at this point I don't see any chance of that happening. Sad thing is that he probably would have before all this blew up into a media frenzy, which was the REC's exact point of all this. Cam won't have a veteran offensive line, Gus Malzahn might leave if given the right opportunity, and if he has won the NC and Heisman, what else does he have left to prove.
As for the wiretaps, If anything was to come of it, someone in the REC would have had it leaked out by now to the media.
