This is just for discussion so please don't get offended if something is suggested that you dont agree with. With that being said, what will AU do to honor current and future legends, such as Chizik. We just named the field after Dye. The stadium holds the name Jordan-Hare. The street that it resides on is named after "Iron Mike" Donahue. Since Chizik has accomplished something that none of the other have (undisputed title...we split '57) what will we name after Chizik?
What is the precedent for removing one legends name from something and renaming it? Would we just name various items around town after him?
"There's no doubt, we're going up."
As long as we don't do stupid stuff like Bama and erect statues...especially while the coach is still around. Idiots.
Fearless and true.

Coaches and players should get lifetime recognition for their achievements. Personally I think other than Heisman, Outland, Lombardi winners we need to wait until they retire. A nice problem to have is having enough winners to make this an issue.WDE
