The article has some validity but simply turns into a typical Jon Solomn/ Birmigham News negative article about AU recruiting.
Remember: If The Jury Box Is Stacked With Foxes...The Chicken Is Always Guilty
Typical rec rhetoric designed to create the perception of uat dominance and reinforce the negativity created by the whole Cam/AU witch-hunt.
Today is a great day to love Auburn, a little better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.
He simply stated fact. Just because the facts dont look good doesnt mean that the media is out to get us.
kick 'em in the ass, big blue.
Sometimes there are black helicopters; does the timing of this not seem planned. AU is banking more on NSD than in years past so a well placed article ,timed correctly, could effect an uncommited kid. If he only sways one then he has done his part.I daily see my local paper give more coverage to uat unless there is a percieved negativity that can be spun, then AU is front page in color. Too many things on too regular a basis at the exact right time to be a coincidence. 3 5-star players in 2 years after very public commitments and timed to give AU little or no time to recover.
This story could be written about any major college football team in the country. The average attrition rate of any college football class is around 50%. Is that stated in the article? No. It doesn't support the agenda. Instead, the author uses the word "remarkably" to describe the attrition rate of 43% for those classes. Is that rate actually remarkable? Hardly.
Do you seriously read the newspaper daily? Do you have it delivered to your cave? I kid.
There is no way that article is objective. It is slanted to make AU look bad right before signing day! No other purpose.
Only 2 things I am afraid of, women and the police. Gator McClusky
Compare and contrast with this article in the al.rag
Really closing in on another national championship????
Auburn......closing inon another trip to the toilet bowl?? Is that what they are saying?? Sure seems like ti to me. This is why you cant read al.crap as anything more than tahd hommers trying to boost bammer and bring donw AU.
So take everything they say with a grain of salt.
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
And it would be intersting to see Coach Saban's retention rate for these years as well. He has processed more meat than Tyson's.
also, by my count, we have 35 guys still on the roster from those 2 classes. That's really not bad at all.
