It's widely been alluded that Chizik has meddled with Loeffler's ability to perform his job as OC and implement his offensive philosophy. Yet Loeffler gets much criticism for the poor performance of this years offense which may not be fair considering Chizik's hand in the offensive side of things.
That said, it seems to me that Wallace's development might be a better indicator of Loeffler's job performance. Maybe watching Wallace develop (or not) is the best way to evaluate Loeffler?
Talked to someone today who knows Wallace. They said the kid is straight A student and knows the playbook backwards and forwards. Said he is constantly studying film. TIFWIW but he said the kid was for real and had worked his butt off for this. Didn't give Loeffler any credit whatsover.
But surely he's not teaching himself? That sounds like the description of a guy that prospers when mentored well.
Careful. You might just be calling CSL a decent coach. Hasn't been much of that going around lately.
Maybe, just maybe, talent has some to do with a coach's success...Too early to say for sure with Wallace, but the early returns support it for sure!
Bozo needs to go. Bad hire and does not know how to run any offense, yet alone the Pro-Set. If CGC stays, this guy needs to go. What gives you one impression that this guy deserves to run Auburn's offense. What has he done before he came to Auburn. Nothing.
no matter how it came about CSL is the scape goat. he is the OC on the 120 ranked offense in the country. even if a miracle happened and chiz were toremain CSL is gone. he has to.
