kick 'em in the ass, big blue.
Ooh ooh and what if by some chance I ran into Megan Fox and she asked me out........
Look at all the ifs and buts in your statement dude. Your theory has no credibility. Watch how easy it is to turn it the other way.
What is Clemson's receivers didn't drop all those passes? They would have won by 40.
What if LSU quit turning the ball over? They would have beaten us by 30.
You keep saying IF as if that has any meaning.
I was going to put a witty joke here, but I forgot bama fans still use picture books. So I thought I'd expedite the process for you...

Malzahn approves of NOW Boot Camp! Well...not really...but he would if he knew about it :) www.nowbootcamp.com
Cam Newton won us that championship and you know it. Chizik just got to reap the benefits from having arguably one of the best college players ever. Think how many times we had to come back in games that year....I know there were at least seven. Without Cam that year, how many games would we have won? Honestly, I believe 7. How many games would we have won that year with Cam, but no Chizik? 14.
AU Girl knows more than you or me or anyone else on this bored so I don't know why you clowns keep doubting her.
Do you think if we had Cam Newton this year we would win the BCSNC?

No, but he would have carried through more than just one crappy win over ULM and the wins damn sure wouldn't have been because of Chizik.
I'm not downing the rest of the 2010 team. They all were a part of it. But undoubtedly the biggest part was Cam Newton and with Barrett Trotter or Clint Moseley at qb in 2010 instead, we would have won 7-8 games.
Basically my point was just a point of Cam's W.A.R. That's Wins Above Replacement for you non baseball folks.
I hear you.
The truth is we were not that great in 2010 early in the season. We squeaked by MSU by 3, beat Clemson by 3 in overtime after they dropped a sure TD and missed a FG, had to beat Kentucky by 3 with a last minute drive ( Kentucky ). What we did have were seniors (many who started) and a great and experienced OL, Nick Fairly and Cam.
We all tend to blame Frazier and I agree he has not played well. But go back and look at the Arky game and you will see an inexperienced OL getting whipped consistently. Hard to make good throws when the DL is in your face the minute you snap the ball.
I do think CGC had a lot to do with us winning the BCSNC. He handled the team and the debacle with Cam exceptionally as did the administration.
I know you disagree strongly with what I am about to say but I do believe we are headed in the right direction. By establishing an Auburn Defense and an Auburn Offense. But it is painful getting there, very painful. Obviously it is not going according to plan and there are issues, I cannot argue with that.
There will be more bumps along the way but I expect to see some positive things as well. I suspect we will play a very good game against Ole Miss. Arky was a trap game of sorts for us because we had played so well against LSU, Arky was supposed to be terrible and we had another one of those 11 am starts. I know we had 2 weeks to prepare.
It pains me to watch what went on last Saturday too, I just don't think firing everybody is the right answer. I happen to believe given time, CGC will produce another championship team.
Sorry, but I just don't see how anyone can sit there and say we are getting better or we are headed in the right direction. 14 wins two years ago, 8 wins last year, more than likely 3-4 wins absolute max this year.....Where is the trend headed? Down. How are you guys seeing this going in the right direction, honestly?
