A caller on f-baum stated that Chizik has signed 92 players in his tenure at AU. Of the 92, 48 have either been dismissed, left the team, or didn't qualify... Is that stat correct?
Auburn from day one.
Seems they are confusing the total that have left with players that Chizik has signed. If the 48 is correct, they weren't all signed by Chizik. I'm seeing around 32 from Chizik's classes, which include a couple leaving early, some with career ending injuries and some that will most likely be back this spring.
Not going to lie and say we haven't probably had more attrition than most, but still, not the huge problem they are trying to make it (besides, even though Dyer is gone, he still helped us bring home the NC, so we got something out of him).
Math isn't their strong suit and they have probably rounded up their favorite 42% argument to 48 and made it a total out of just kids Chizik has recruited.

By this point all of us should know that math is not the strong point of the bammer nation. War Eagle!!!
Anyone have numbers on Saban's first 4 years? The only reason he left the Dolphins to coach at "Bama" is b/c he couldn't handle coaching with a salary cap in the NFL. No such problem in T-town.

I say forget about the math...does Chiz have the best players he can field? And I don't believe our attrition rate is any worst or better than the rest of NCAA football teams. Those type of comments come from people who want to make a point looking at a tree and not the forest. I call
