Any Mayan experts out there that can tell me what's supposed to happen that day (sun crashing into the earth, imploding, ect.) Do they predict anything specific or is it just vague. Kinda wanted to know if I need to be traveling that day....
Hopefully, the world will truly come to an end so that I don't have to look at what is left of this recruiting class come signing day.
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
That makes the most sense.
Orange and Blue like the Auburn sky, War Eagle till the day I die.
They believed that our technology would turn against us and destroy us. They also believed that this had already happened four other times and this fifth one would be the final end of humanity. However, they never predicted the date of this final apocalypse, they just never figured their calender out past 2012.
The Mayans divided their calendar into different ages of about 5000 years called long counts ( or epocs). This marks the end of the current age. There are ages after the current ones in mayan calendars. I would just chalk it up to the history channel making bank on scaring people.
Where Pat threw, Bo ran and Cam flew.
It would be funny as hell if Saban left the tide on that day. Oh, so fitting.

I think it's important that we all believe the Mayans knew the world would end on the day that ends their calendar. After all, they were so advanced that they predicted and avoided the end of their own society, didn't they?
That is the stupidest thing I have read in a very long time.
Anyway to the OP. the Mayan calendar has already ended. They did not have leap year. So all joking aside the end of the Mayan calendar was like three months ago.
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
