It seems that the MSU faithful have marked up this one as a win after their blowout of mighty Jackson State. The word also from the MSU faithful is that Clemson wouldnt have a shot at them and are shocked we lost to them. They seem to think playing in Starkville has sealed the deal for them. I think otherwise....Auburn 28 MSU 17

I think MSU should be confident. We will never blow anyone out playing the defensive scheme (and personnel) we played on Saturday night. Giving receivers 7-8 yard cushions (even on 3rd and short), diving at the legs of ball carriers, having no size or athleticism in the middle, and getting too far upfield constantly by the DEs, etc., and why should we expect a different result the next game?
I'm not trying to bash the coaching staff (who have yet to prove they can field a legit D in their 4 years here), but what does Chizik expect when he doesn't put our best players on the field and he doesn't put the ones on the field in a position to make plays?
He's in his 6th year as a BCS head coach and we're still waiting for him to successfully defend the forward pass. Enough is enough.
