  • I know we don't want to sound desperate. but the special recruits, dont we want to make them feel as if we cant do without them. Because I am not getting that feeling. And with most (rueben) thats all they want to hear. We need to realize the season we just had and stop beeing scared to be the rejcted guy, when the girl says " i'm just not into YOU!". Sell out;dive for the goal! lets get jilted a couple times. because if we dont go hard we will be left out in the cold looking In again.

  • War Eagle. If I had to pick one of the big three to lose, it would have been Liner not that it was a good thing. Gus has addressed needs and I expect a big finish. I'm excited about NSD, but looking forward more to Spring.

    Brice Brown, Seastrunk, Crowell and several others come to mind. I'm sorry, but it doesn't take THIS LONG to decide. They have been recruited for three years now!

  • Question. Who are the recruits we aren't hearing about that are going to help fill out the class? We keep seeing/hearing pretty much the same names, and history says we won't get all of them. So who are the not mentioned guys that are going to get us to 25?

    Brown started several games this year for the Philadelphia Eagles. Seastrunk scored 8 TDs and rushed for over 1000 yards this year.

    Liner may or may not pan out, his size may hurt him in the long run –but then it may not. That drama is done now though. I will always believe that the negative crap slung at him nonstop by our fans for months on end influenced his decision but it is what it is and what it is is time to move on.

    Negative crap slung from fans? I hate to tell you but the Auburn family was open arms until the rumors started about him playing this game to get back at Reuben Foster for flipping to Auburn, that his plan was to string Auburn along and then flip on NSD to sukBama. He was even noted to be trying to recruit players to come to sukBama at the all star game, so, sorry if that didn't sit well with fans.

    We don't need recruits with character issues like that. I seriously doubt he even finishes college out, and I mean getting kicked off the team kind of issues. What's funny is when he was committed to Auburn, sukBama fans called him a thug, and a troublemaker, but now, he's all of a sudden gold, lol.

    Actually those in the "gone but not forgotten" category can be just gone at this point. I was hoping for Trey to come back but if we get Foster and Toney we will be great there. After Liner plotted the NSD flip I am not sure how many would give and hoot anymore and with Adams hopefully visiting Feb 1 that is where we are headed. Jaquay is enrolled in TAM I think. The other spots it looks like upgrades. Anyway I am ready to move on from that group.
