The guy has consistently gotten results. I've always wondered why so many, including our own fans, feel that he is just a recruiter.

I like Trooper, and most importantly young folks like him. Every game I've been to, all the teenagers around are constantly talking Trooper this, or Trooper that.
I honestly don't know how the guy holds up as much as he jumps around. I think it was clear Chiz targeted him and Luper from the beginning. I would hate to see them move on. Saying that, I think they make quite a chunk of change here, and I don't know if they could get that somewhere else.

Ron, is anyone seriously considering Mike Leach for a job? His name gets tossed around in the media whenever jobs come open and he hasn't been shy about saying he'd like to get back into coaching but is anyone seriously considering him? Or have the TT scandal, resulting lawsuits and quirky personality made him to toxic to touch for an BCS school?

His lawsuit against ESPN hurts him. FAU has a strong interest. I'm sure he will chase UCLA and Arizona State, among others. However, until the ESPN lawsuit it settled, I think he's going to have a hard time landing a BCS job.

Ron, can you address the Richt rumor in the other thread? I can't imagine in a million years that Bobo would be a serious candidate but I can see Richt wanting to leave.
Also, does Mullen have a long leash at MSU? I haven't followed their recruiting too closely but I just don't see the horses there to come close to the top 4 in the conference any time soon.

So right now, all we have is bad news about coaches and no names or anything to give us good news? They call me pessimistic. Well, none of this news feels good right now but that might just be me. Could we please get more good news out here? I'm glad I get this news but ouch. This stuff is starting to leave some bruises.
